Market Traders Lament on Low Christmas Patronage

It the yuletide season, and as you all know, everywhere will be buzzing especially for traders selling their goods. But that not the case for traders in the metropolitan city

Jos, who trade in the popular Abattoir market.

commenting on the low patronage, Mama Chiamaka who sells foods stuffs said "since i started selling in this market, I've never witness a Christmas period like this. Imagine the goods i bought since last week Tuesday, i never sell am finish"'. also Matan Bukuru, as known, lamented on how customers kept on prizing her goods below cost price.

Another woman who sells chickens narrated on how she even fell asleep while waiting for customers. she said, she had bought plenty of chickens expecting high sales but the odds weren't on her side as customers were less seen.
